Falcon Shelving Tyre Racking is used: by commercial tyre retailers with warehouses, by mechanical workshops and by enthusiasts, who need to store tires in their garages.
The racking is 0.6m deep and is designed in widths of 1.0m, 1.5m, 2.0m and 2.5m and heights of 2.0m, 2.4m and 2.7m. So whatever your needs we have you covered.
We find that the 2m height is popular for garages. The 2.7m height on the other hand offers versatile storage solutions for commercial clients, who want to maximise the use of their available space vertically, while still having easy access for manual handling of the tyres.
Each tyre rack is designed and weight rated to 300Kg per tier, which translates to a total load of 1,200 Kg per bay of racking.

The hardware components of our racks are made from quality welded steel and are powder coated for durability. Each standard rack is made up of 8 orange beams, 2 blue uprights and 16 locking pins
Our tyre racking is easy to assemble without tools. Each unit comes with pre-drilled holes in the footplates, so that the racking can be fastened to the floor for added safety.
The units are equipped to be connected together into rows. Along with the range of sizes, this allows you to choose the optimal bay length to accommodate the dimensions and width of the tyres being stored.
Depending on the number and model of tires you need to store, you can specify the number of tiers per bay of racking. You can also adjust each level up and down to store tyres having a range of tyre sizes, from those for passenger vehicles to a heavy duty tyre for trucks.
Another great thing about Falcon Shelving's modular tyre racking system is that you can disassemble and reconfigure the racking as required. This makes it easy to reconfigure your storage hardware as your needs change. It is also easy to disassemble your tyre racking, when you need to move to a new location.

We provide a free drawing service to help you plan the most efficient layout to suit your storage space. It is often helpful to get your initial thoughts down on paper to ensure that you have the capacity to store the number of tyres required, while at the same time maintaining the best workflow for people and equipment to maximise productivity.
As an example, we helped a client, who was fitting out a new, local independent tyre outlet. From the initial plan there were a couple of iterations of changes, as we went back and forth with discussions and ideas about the best means of storing tyres on the available floor space. As a result we included a number of positive changes in the design before the client settled on the plan above.
