Floor Leveling Plate

The floor leveling plates (or shims) of our longspan shelving units come with pre-drilled, 12mm holes. So you can use an 8mm dynabolt or similar fastener to secure the units to the floor.

The 1.5mm thick shims fit under the footplate of the shelving units. They can be used singly or stacked to adjust the shelving unit, so that it is level. The shape of the leveling plate and the base plate of the shelving unit match for a neat finish.

The floor leveling plates let you to create level runs or rows of shelving when the floor is uneven. This is important for safety and stability, especially:

• In high traffic areas
• When using forklifts etc
• When storing heavy items
