Floor Leveling Plate

The floor leveling plates (or shim plates) of our longspan shelving units come with pre-drilled, 12mm holes. So you can use an 8mm dynabolt or similar fastener/ anchor bolt to secure the units to the floor.

The 1.5mm thick shims fit under the footplate of the shelving units. They can be used singly or added in a column to adjust the racking unit, so that it is level. The shape of the leveling plate and the base plate of the shelving unit match for a neat finish.

The floor leveling plates let you to create shelving installations that are level and plumb when the concrete surface is uneven. This is important for safety and stability, especially:

• In high traffic areas
• When using forklifts etc
• When storing heavy weight items
