What is a Bay of shelving?

A Bay is the description for a full package of shelving - either the initial (stand alone) order or any add-on shelving purchased. A Bay includes 4 levels of shelving with decks and either 2 uprights (stand alone) or 1 upright (add-on).

What is the difference between an Initial Bay (i.e. stand alone/independent) and an Add-on Bay?

The Initial bay has 2 uprights included which can stand independently. An Add-on bay includes 1 upright which needs to be attached to the Initial bay.

Can you deliver the shelving?

Yes we can deliver Falcon Shelving™ anywhere in Australia. Simply give us a call or send us an email to get a quote for the freight charge to your address. Delivery times vary according to distance. Next-day 24 hour delivery (after payment has been received) is available to customers in the Sydney & Melbourne metro area.

Can I pick up the shelving myself?

Yes. You are welcome to pick up your products from our Boost A Space™ warehouse at 5/183 McCredie Road, Smithfield NSW or 100 Henderson Road, Rowville VIC, Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 5:30pm (once payment has been received.).

What are your business hours?

The Falcon Shelving™ office, showroom and warehouse’s business hours are 9:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday. After hours or weekend service may be arranged. Please call 1300 519 931.

Do you have interstate offices?

Outside NSW, Boost A Space™ has a delivery hub at Rowville in Victoria however this is not for product display but for pickup or delivery only. We deliver anywhere in Australia. Simply give us a call or send us an email to get a quote for the freight charge to your address.

Are there discounts for volume purchases?

Yes. If you order more than 10 units of shelving our friendly staff will offer you a tailored quotation. For more details please call 1300 519 931.

How does your loyalty program work?

When you make a shelving purchase you will receive an e-coupon which entitles you to a saving of $5 off each unit in your next purchase. The discount also applies to a purchase made by any other person introduced by yourself to Boost A Space™.

The e-coupon code is valid for 3 months from the purchase.

How does your affiliate program work?

Our affiliate program is a great way for you to save with Falcon Shelving™. If you have a website or online forum where you can promote our range of products to your friends/contacts you can sign up as an affiliate. Simply go towww.falconshelving.com.au/about-us/affiliates and every time products are ordered via your website you will receive an attractive rebate.

Why do you offer a discount for local pick up?

When you pick up from our Falcon Shelving™ warehouse at 5/183 McCredie Road, Smithfield NSW2164 or 100 Henderson Road, Rowville VIC 3178, we do not have to organise the packaging and shipping of your products. We pass the savings on to you. For more information on your discount call our friendly staff on 1300 519 931. 

I have found a cheaper price from another supplier, can you match their price?

Falcon Shelving™ is the manufacturer which means we offer you “factory prices” and we are confident about our competitiveness. In most cases the quality of the cheaper product is not the same level as ours. We use premium materials and support them with a 5 year product guarantee. I haven't received the delivery yet, what should I do?

After your order has been dispatched from our storage depots you will receive an email with the courier’s details and the tracking number. You can track your order through the link provided. If you still haven’t received your order 24 hours after it was expected, please call our friendly customer service team on 1300 519 931.

What if a product I received is damaged?

Please take pictures immediately of the damage and email the details to service@falconshelving.com.au. In the email please provide the order number, date of purchase, the damage and your contact details. Our customer service team will contact you within 24 hours.

Do I need to bolt shelving to the ground?

No. The weight of the items stored on the shelves will pin the shelving to the ground.

What if my storage items vary in size - some big, some small?

A major benefit of our shelving system is its flexibility allowing you to adjust the height of each level to your individual requirements. Also, you can add extra levels to the standard package.(long span shelving has 4 level in standard package, retail shelving has 3 to 5 level in standard package.)

If the size I need is not listed on the website can you make custom shelving for me?

Yes. For orders of 10 units or more we can customise the shelving to your exact specifications. (eg. 0.4m deep, 2m wide and 1.8m high). There is a 6-8 week lead time for custom orders.

How can I reduce the freight costs?

The most cost- effective method is to pick up your order from our Smithfield NSW or Rowville VIC warehouse. Alternatively, we can ship your order to the nearest major city and you can pick it up from the courier’s depot directly. City to city freight costs are less than city to suburban or remote locations. Please be aware that some couriers do not allow pick-ups at their depots so contact our service team to source the most suitable courier. If appropriate, orders of over 50 units can be sea freighted to your nearest available port.

Are your products protected by a warranty?

All Falcon Shelving™ products have a 5 year nationwide warranty. If the product has quality issues such as broken uprights, broken welding points, etc. that are not damaged by an external force we will replace the damaged items with brand new products. (Please see How can I make warranty claim? If you need to make a claim)

How can I make warranty claim?

Please take clear pictures of the damaged product and email it to service@falconshelving.com.au including a detailed description of the damage, how and when it occurred and a copy of your receipt. Our service team will assess the situation and contact you within 24 hours.

Can you install the shelving or long span shelving supported mezzanine platforms for me?

Yes. Falcon Shelving™ is able to assist with installation and a separate quotation will be provided for your consideration. Please note, our long span shelving and supermarket shelving are very simple to install by yourself and we do not receive many requests for installation due to the ease of this DIY product. The long span shelving supported mezzanine platform can also be erected by as few as two or three people without incurring additional costs for installation.

The pallet packing will requires more expertise. You can always compare our installation rate with 3rd party's rate.

 What sizes are available?

 We stock most commonly used steel shelving sizes:

Long span shelving: 1m, 1.5m and 2m wide; 2m, 2.4m and 2.7m high; and 0.5m and 0.6m deep.

Retail shelving: 1.2m, 0.9m wide, 1.2m, 1.4m, 2m,2.2m high, and 0.45m, 0.4m deep

Pallet racking: up to 10m uprights with beams up to 3m long. Up to 2.9 ton per level

What type of payment methods do you accept?

Please note goods are not dispatched or available for pick-up until funds have been cleared.

Do you have a showroom?

Falcon Shelving’s™ showroom is located at 5/183 McCredie Road, Smithfield, in Sydney. All the products featured on our website are on display at our showroom for you to peruse. Our showroom is open Monday to Friday between 9:30am and 5:30pm. For after hour visit, please contact us on: 1300 519 931 to make appointment.

What happens if I have moved since placing my order?

If you are expecting a delivery and have changed your address please advise us as soon as possible so we can advise the courier. Attempted deliveries at an incorrect address will incur an additional charge to redeliver.

What happens if I am not home when my item's delivered?

If you are not home to receive your item a card will be left by the courier driver. Please follow the instructions provided to arrange for redelivery.

Can you deliver to my residential address?

Yes. However, please be aware that deliveries to some residential addresses may incur an extra charge. When placing your order please select “Residential Address". Failed to provide correct delivery address may incur extra charge and extra charge will be passed on you. A signature is required for all so please ensure that someone is home to receive the goods. For orders packed on pallets a larger truck may be required for delivery so please make sure there's forklift on site to unload the pallets from the truck.

Can I order over the phone or email?

Yes. Orders can be taken via email and phone.

Do your prices include GST?

Yes. All prices listed on our website are inclusive of GST.

 Do you sell additional levels of shelving?

Yes. Additional shelving levels can be purchased. You can either purchase extra level by selecting from the recommended accessories at the bottom of the shelving page or clicking accessories page. How can I make an order?

We offer 2 convenient methods for ordering: (1) order from our website and pay directly online (2) call 1300 519 931 and place an order over the phone with one of our sales representatives.

Do you buy back your shelving?

We will need to decide upon availability of storage space and conditions of your shelving. Please contact us on 1300 519 931to discuss.
